Accessibility Progress Report in Compliance with 24-34-802, C.R.S.

Summary

The Commission on Judicial Discipline is committed to providing equitable access to all Coloradans. Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards the day when all of our services are accessible, providing equal access to information and services to all Coloradans.

As of February 26, 2025, the Commission’s website is 98.9% accessible based on audits from SiteImprove. The Department continues to update and improve accessibility to its website, prioritizing highly trafficked and public-facing pages and documents.

Barriers

The Office of Judicial Discipline is comprised of a small team, and there is currently only a partial administrative FTE available to manage the website and remediates documents. 

Progress

To that end, the Commission on Judicial Discipline has a plan to prioritize, evaluate, remediate and continuously improve every digital touchpoint within our services by July 1, 2025. Below, you’ll find some of the measures that we are undertaking:

  • Post an accessibility statement with information on how to contact the Commission without web access; (Completed)
  • Create and post on front-facing web pages a progress-to-date report that is updated quarterly and demonstrates concrete and specific efforts toward compliance with the OIT rules; (Completed)
  • Adopt WCAG 2.1 AA standards and implement within website; (In Progress - Ongoing Integration)
  • Run audits and testing with SiteImprove; and (Audits Completed - Ongoing Compliance Testing)
  • Remediate annual reports per accessibility guidelines. (In Progress)
